Try this meditation!
So this meditation is a meditation of a delicious kind! A mediation that invites us to simply be ! To put away any nostalgia to past events…or any anxieties, thoughts about the future and to simply be present to the now
Take a piece of your favourite chocolate.
Take the chocolate into your hands and feel it in your hands.
We invite you to bring all of your attention to this moment – to let go of any thoughts – any worries- and simply to bring all your presence to the simple act of feeling your hands cupping this chocolate. If you have thoughts, just let them come and go.
So very slowly, open the wrapper- in a very fast world let us savour this opportunity to go slow! Again bringing your presence to this simple activity.
Be aware of any sensations in your body……your breath ...............your heart
Once you have done that place the chocolate in your mouth….be aware of your senses…in this moment, we invite all our body and senses to awaken to this very moment…
As you feel the chocolate in your mouth , feel the chocolate slowly melting and just enjoy this simple pleasure…….bring your focus to all the sensations …….
Remember to breathe and enjoy
As you finish the chocolate imagine the process that allowed for the chocolate to be here now….from the cocoa nibs…..to the factories….to the store …..
